FAQ

Answers about research materials, documentation, checkout, Canada shipping, and what we will not advise on.

Research materials and quality

Kinetic Aminos sells research amino acid materials and related laboratory support items for qualified research settings. Listings describe identity, form, size, and stated purity where published.

Products are supplied for laboratory and analytical research use only. They are not sold as drugs, supplements, cosmetics, foods, or consumer wellness products.

It means materials are offered for non-clinical laboratory research, analytical reference work, and related scientific use by qualified personnel.

It does not mean Health Canada approved the product. It does not create a legal exemption by itself. It does not mean the material is safe or suitable for humans or animals. Read the full Research Use Only policy for the complete statement.

No. These materials are not Health Canada-authorized drugs and do not carry a Drug Identification Number (DIN).

Third-party or batch analytical testing, when available, verifies reported purity or identity for a lot. Testing is not the same as regulatory approval for human or veterinary use.

Yes. Batch CoAs are available upon request. Email support with your order number and any lot details you have from the vial or packing materials.

We do not offer a public CoA browser or self-serve verification portal in the current storefront. Staff fulfill CoA requests manually.

HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) is commonly used to report chromatographic purity: how much of the detected signal appears as the main peak under the stated method.

Mass spectrometry is commonly used to support identity by comparing observed molecular mass with the mass expected from the stated sequence.

The two measurements answer different questions. A purity percentage alone is not the same as identity confirmation, and identity data alone does not describe impurity load. See our testing education page for a longer explanation.

Follow the storage conditions on your lot documentation, label, and institutional SOPs. Many lyophilized research materials are kept cool, dry, and protected from light in sealed containers.

Laboratory handling guides often discuss cold storage for longer holds and caution about moisture when opening cold vials. We publish facility-level storage themes in Research Hub. We do not publish personal-use or reconstitution-for-administration instructions.
